Sometimes I’m just a silly romantic. Sometimes, I just want to watch something that makes me fantasize later about the characters. That doesn’t always mean that I want to fantasize in a sexual way; it could mean that I just want to play a scene in my head that makes me feel warm and fuzzy in my heart.  But I don’t want to give up the sex scenes either.

Love, Marriage, & Other Bad Ideas fits perfectly when I am in such a mood.  This film is written by Jacky St. James and is produced by the New Sensations Romance studio. I am becoming a fan of Jacky St. James work, as it’s more of the plot than the sex scenes themselves that I find myself rewinding.  The sex is hot, as with most pornography movies, but the plot is well worth the watch.
In this movie we meet Dr. Paul Highland who has lost his love for, well, love. He counsels  couples and has no patience for their neediness, nagging, and relentless bitching.  He has given up on love being an option for marriage or any relationship.  That is until April walks into his office. She doesn’t believe he is out love, and although she seeks his help for her own relationship, he learns a few things.
Dr. Highland, played by Richie Calhoun, and April, portrayed by Alison Tyler, have a great chemistry throughout the film.  Most of their on camera time is spent with clothes on, but the flirtations and interactions are just what I look for in a romance.  Their sex scene is the last of the movie, and is worth the wait. The heat between them during the film boils over into their finale, where they come together in a passionate sex scene.
Three couples seek help from Dr. Highland and find themselves having steamy sex, despite his attempt for them to see how messed up their relationships are.  These stars are: Dana DeArmond, Lexi Belle, Natasha Nice, Anthony Rosano, Wolf Hudson, and Xander Corvus.
