Her lover left a note of flowery endearments, his promises of forever and of a promised ecstasy that only they understood. His instructions had been simple, and she had followed them perfectly, obediently. Her lover never returned home, a freak accident she was told. Her heart was broken and stopped beating shortly after.
Each Hallows Eve she can still be heard up in the tower room readying herself for him. Following his instructions: “Strip nude, leave your hair down, do not leave the tower room.- I will be home by dark.”
